Adult Day Services of Napa Valley offers three programs of care designed to improve or maintain participants’ quality of life and level of independence, that are customized to the needs of participants and their families.
Adult Day Health Care
- Provides frail elderly and younger functionally impaired adults with medical and/or rehabilitation services, social programs, and assistance with the activities of daily living. Program hours are Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with extended hours available for working caregivers.
Garden Haven Alzheimer’s Day Care Resource Center
- An alternative to institutionalization that meets the special needs of those with early to severe Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Program hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Mind Boosters, a new program of the Garden Haven Alzheimer’s Day Care Resource Center, is a weekly gathering of people who are in the beginning stages of memory loss.
The Adult Day Care Program
- Provides an individualized plan of social activities and recreation to those with functional impairments who need supervision or assistance with the activities of daily living but do not require healthcare services. Program hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Who can refer?
Anyone can refer clients to Adult Day Services of Napa Valley: family, friends’ social workers and health providers. We then develop an individualized program of care that is approved by the participant’s personal physician.
How are services paid for?
Adult Day Health Care: Medi-Cal, some private insurance, private pay and sliding fee scale.
Garden Haven Alzheimer’s Day Care Resource Center: private pay and sliding-fee scale.
Mind Boosters: private pay and sliding-fee scale.
Adult Day Care: private pay.
